Volunteer Opportunities

PALS (People Actively Living Socially) University

PALS University volunteers can assist staff and clients with classroom activities, food prep, project clean-up and more. Two to six-hour shifts available Monday through Friday
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rainbow Center Day Program

Like PALS University, volunteers at the Rainbow Center Day Program can help with client-focused activities and relationship building exercises. Tasks can include mentoring, coffee conversations, bowling, concerts, music, meal prep and more. Two to six-hour shifts available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Event Volunteers

A variety of special events are held throughout the year for CDD clients and supporters. Tasks include greeting, registration, customer service, parking, activity support and concessions, with shifts lasting anywhere from 2 to 5 hours per event.

Upcoming Events

Maintenance & Marketing

Volunteers can assist with seasonal yard clean-up, flower planting and outdoor/indoor home renovations for clients and CDD facilities. General maintenance duties like: mowing and carpentry.

Marketing needs include: photography and website upkeep.

Steering Committees

Individuals can help our development initiatives or other department needs through grant research, donor appreciation, data entry and event planning. Steering committees usually have 1-2 hour monthly meetings, plus possible other project-based or event-based tasks.
